Mama Lou`s Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Always loved this place. If you just like to have good food it's a great place with friendly staff and good cooks.

Waited forever to be served.... got our order wrong.... took 20 min to remake it. And said it was gonna be taken off but didnt... bathrooms where nasty!

I eat here at least 2 times a week by myself and usually on the weekend with the kids. They always have a special going on and the food is 🔥 and very affordable!!!!

Use to work here the food is good. But management is terrible. They have employees who they refuse to let go even though they know they have been stealing fron other waitresses! If you go late night after 11 make sure you give your waitress her money in her hand! Or a chunky blonde or tall mushroom body brunette will take the money off the table before she can get to it. Hope this message helps somebody.

This place is awesome. Nostalgic, great food (they actually know how to cook eggs to order) and very friendly staff.

The food is amazing especially the liver and onions or the meatloaf! I prefer this over 5 star dining any day!

I had the ham stake, it's huge and well cooked. The service was very good. The beef tips, my friend had where also very good.

One of the last stops before heading home for long trip. Was recommended from our hotel. Sarah our waitress was awesome

Richard's with Richards Custom Concrete loves the waffles at Mama Lou's something about the waffles are different haven't found a better waffle yet

Food and service was great but please fix the a/c on the non smoking side.!! Its hard for asthmatic folks like me to breath!

We wanted something with local flavor. This dinner did not disappoint. They serve breakfast all day. They offer daily specials and Pepsi products.

Took an hour and a half to get food. All the orders were wrong and nothing came out together.

Food was excellent, service was great, place was clean, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to feed the entire family.

Usually love going here but today the AC was out. Ok when its 100° and your AC is out at a restaurant they should close the doors! Not wait till we ask why we sweating AFTER ORDERING OUR FOOD!!!

Only bad was cleaning from bus man. Found broccoli in seat. Waitress was real good

The chicken tasted old and freezer burnt on the chicken and waffle. However the french toast special was amazing!

This will always be our after concert meal in the city!! Great food, great service, weak but plentiful coffee make this a great place for a quick meal. The restaurant's customers had high spirits and our waitress was 10 out of 10 on service. The glasses never came close to empty. We will definitely be back!

This is our spot whenever we go out to eat. My mom use to take us here a lot. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner or even late night after drinking lol. The owner is super nice & very helpful always.The waitresses are sweet.. They're always so nice and patient with me and my little girls. I always get the chicken fried steak... it's amazing I can't find a better chicken fried steak than theirs. & their ranch is HOMEMADE.. you can tell.. It's amazing i need the recipe... There's also a location in Moore, but it's nothing like mama lou's this one is better.. You get a nostalgia feeling being here since everything is old school... we love you mama lou's.

Now this was nice. I'm not a breakfast person, and been wanting some fried mushrooms. They serve anything they have on their menu anytime! They were cooked just right, the batter was very good. It had very good texture and flavor. Very family type atmosphere, and the ladies serving were very hospitable. Good place to stop when traveling, so if I'm near there, I will want to go to Mama Lou's!

Food was good as always, but we had to wait almost an hour to get it, and it was not busy at all.

Same food it's been as long as I can remember and I still love it! Prices are reasonable Service as fast not to mention they still have a smoking section

Food was amazing. I don't smoke myself, but there is a smoking section for those that do. I was pretty drunk so I don't really remember the prices lol, but I know it couldn't have been expensive because I got a lot to eat and I didn't have much left on my card that I used. And still had $13 left on that card the next day lol. The food I took home to-go was still great the next day too.

Good food. Some of the best waffles I've ever had. The staff is friendly. It's a very inviting place.

Drove in from Austin last night and wanted to sit down somewhere....boy was I happy I decided Mama Lous. The food was hot, delicious and affordable. All the servers were super friendly. It was so good I had to stop by for breakfast the next day. I will definitely come here again should I pass through OKC.

Always friendly service! The food is good. I love their biscuits and gravy and that tortilla soup is pretty darn good too. Are you feeling fancy? Have them both. Cindy is amazing. If you're reading this and she's taking care of you tell her Wil said hi send you like her hair.

Garnishing were weird- parsley with french toast? My husbands chicken fried steak was unseasoned and the gravy congealed on top. Would not recommend to people I like.

Me and my husband like to make small trips and try new restaurants and this place was by far one of the best we have tried in a while. The environment was very calm and relaxing. The staff was nice and upbeat. The food was delicious!! Definitely worth cheating on my diet with the chicken fried steak!

Always my go to when I hot the blues. Reminds me of an old country song or movie.

Food was good. Service was ok however had to ask cook to get a mask on.

Very much a diner, it has ample seating, easy to get to and park. Met a colleague for lunch. My salad was as expected. Will go back.
